Crofter’s Organic Superfruit Review

Remember when I got Crofter’s Organic Superfruit for free from their Superbowl giveaway? Well, recently I received another jar free from their Facebook promotion. Each week Crofter’s picks a different blogger to receive a jar of their superfruit spread for free! And not too long ago, I won one! You should really “Like” Crofter’s Organic… maybe you’ll win too!

When I received my coupon in the mail, I took the coupon for a free superfruit jar to Whole Foods to pick my flavor. I found four different options: Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. Continents! What a fun theme for jam! I loved looking at all of the beautiful jars (Yes, the jars are beautiful.) and looking at my options.

I ended up deciding on the Asia superfruit, which is shown above. This superfruit has raspberries and yumberries, both of which are local to East Asia, mixed with Morello cherries and red grapes. You can read about the other delicious flavors here. The Asia superfruit spread was delicious and gave my typical PBJ more flavor. The mix of fruit flavors definitely gave my sandwich a more exciting taste.

Additionally, Crofter’s superfruit is organic, meaning synthetic pesticides are not used on the fruit used to create their superfruit. It also means that the superfruit is free of food additives and has been limited in its processing. More than 95% of an item labeled organic has to be comprised of organic ingredients, so yes, the sugar in it is organic too! I appreciate that. I have been pickier with buying jams in the past year because with the amount of sugar in them. I don’t want that sugar to be synthetic, which leads me to my next point…

In my opinion, the superfruit is healthier than the typical jams you might buy at the store as well. The first ingredient listed are the four fruits above. Check. Ingredient #2? Organic fair trade cane sugar, which you can learn more about here. I’m not sure where to begin. Organic… love. Fair trade… love that too. AND the fruits used in their superfruits are intentionally chosen because they contain antioxidants, which you can read about here.

And after all those times my mother told me that jelly wasn’t healthy… clearly she was mistaken! She needs to try Crofter’s! Mother’s Day, perhaps?

In case you can’t tell, I’m really loving Crofter’s Organic superfruit! Have you tried it yet?

Though I received this product free, there was no obligation to review. I reviewed it voluntarily because I loved it so much.
