Jealous! I have had some great shopping trips lately, too, but I miss Central Market and Kroger. I have been buying Kashi cereal for $1.50/box, Kashi frozen pizza for $3/ea, and Kashi granola bars for $0.50/box. I’ve just been watching for when sales and double coupon days align.
Yesterday, I got $10 off my total for buying 6 boxes of General Mills cereal. I had $0.55 or $0.75 coupons for each box that all got doubled. Then, I got coupons at the checkout from General Mills: one for $3.50 off a gallon of milk and another for $1.50 off of a carton of eggs. Both are items that we will need within the week and they’ll be free (well, the eggs will be almost free. I get the cage free eggs.) Thanks General Mills!
Speaking of double coupon days… up here the grocery store doesn’t actually double. It just matches the coupon up to $1. Is that what it’s like there? I guess “Match Up to $1 per Coupon Days” isn’t quite as catchy.
Great deals!! You are lucky your store doubles $1 coupons!! That’s awesome. Here Kroger and Tom Thumb double those up to 50 cents and triple those up to 35 cents. Not nearly as great as your store! I’m jealous!!
