One of the items I was sent to review for my baby shower was the Protect-A-Bub compact sunshade! It attaches to your umbrella stroller to offer extra protection from the sun.
Since I am unable to test this item on my own baby at the moment, I borrowed my friend’s toddler! He’s a fabulous model, I must say!
The shade completely blocked out the sun from his face and most of his body, while still allowing a cool breeze through. I love that the shade is breathable! It would be a great item to use near the beach or a in a big city, such as NYC, where you use your stroller outside daily! It would also be perfect for any outdoor outings, such as the zoo!
To secure the sunshade to your stroller, you simply tie it to the side bars and then also up near the handle bars., as you can see in the picture. This method makes the shade not only easy to secure but also very versatile. It should fit any umbrella stroller! My friend’s stroller, which I tested this shade on, is the Maclaren. I plan to use it on the Baby Jogger City Mini.
Another great feature about this shade is that it comes in a pouch and can be easily folded back up to fit inside! You simply hold the two curved wires, lining the shade, and wrap them inwards, creating a tight loop. This shade could easily fit in most stroller storage compartments with your diaper bag or even inside your diaper bag!
