Turn Your Christmas Cards into Place Mats!

I love our Christmas cards so much that 2009’s Christmas cards were still hanging up at Halloween! I just love seeing the faces of our loved ones, not to mention the pretty cards and clever ideas! So this year I decided to collage our cards onto pieces of construction paper and laminate them, creating place mats! The place mats I made were front and back, which did make them more difficult to laminate. But front and back just seemed more fun than one-sided!

Also I checked prices before I went. FedEx was going to charge me $3.99 per sheet to use their oversized laminator. Staples, on the other hand, only charged me $1.99 per sheet! That’s a big difference! Always price shop.

  3. instead of paying to get them laminate, you can do it your slef by buying clear shelf paper.. it works just as good

    • It’s true. I think in this case they may be too think for just contact paper. Personally I prefer the look of lamination. But you could totally try the contact paper! Let me know how it turns out!
