Well we finally got two more chickens to replace the roosters we had. Notice I said “chickens” rather than hens… Yeah, we fear we may be a rooster …AGAIN! But we do have one more hen, so hooray for more eggs!
Meet Blondie and Sir. Hubby just added these branches to the coop to create more roosting perches. And these two newbies are using them as a hideout from the bullying babes we already had.
Well that’s all in chicken news!
Any new pets in your homes?

Adorable! I would love to have some hens for eggs plus to play with
. But I only have 1/3 of an acre in a subdivision. I’m not sure if that would be allowed.

Hey Carli! We may actually live on a quarter acre or a bit less. In a suburb that allows farm animals. Ha! You’ll have to check with your city. They just may allow them!

Do you have any posts about the cost, care, etc. for them? My cat would love to see them in the back yard too! We’d all have fun!

I don’t! But eventually I plan to do a post on cost. I just haven’t made it there yet! And we are still figuring out the ropes.
