I found an awesome idea on Pinterest and had to recreate it – the toddler exploration bottle! It didn’t turn out nearly as well as the original. (Isn’t that always the case?) But it’s worth featuring because I am sure some of you will love this idea! And I plan to redo it as soon as I get my hands on another great bottle!
What you need – a clear and hard plastic bottle with a screw on lid and big mouth; other than that, lots of small objects and randomness!
Put it all in the bottle – and voila! You can add water. In fact, it looks super cool when you do add water. The problem I ran into is that I put mini “snow” balls (aka styrofoam) in there. Apparently when styrofoam touches water, it all sticks together. This is one of those things I should have known… Anyway you can see the issue below but look at the stuff below the snow – pretty cool looking, right?
I would have just taken the snow out, but the bottle was also leaking… grr. So I just took the water out. Here it is!
Apparently it’s still at least somewhat entertaining!
Also of note – girls can totally wear blue!

Totally neat idea! And I agree..girls should get to wear blue more often..such a hard color to find for them!!
