As a mom of a little one I love reading blogs written by moms of toddlers and websites geared towards moms of young ones. It’s great to have access to tips for promoting my child’s development, managing my time as a mom, cooking wholesome meals for my family, etc. After all being the Chief Operating Officer of the Lankford household is a busy job, so any help I can get is welcomed! That’s where Baby + You comes in. It’s a new site geared specifically for moms and moms-to-be. The site itself is stylish and cheery. I was immediately drawn in and wanted to explore. Their articles cover everything from sleep to laundry and cooking to postpartum healing to separation anxiety and so much more! That first year was so hard at times, so I greatly appreciate the encouragement and advice offered on Baby + You!
One areas of the site that I love is their recipe section, which includes tons of great recipes for pregnant ladies and new moms. Of course, these recipes are great for everyone, but what makes these especially great for mommas is that these recipes are filled with great nutrients and they are substantial! And there are pictures with each recipe – I really hate it when people don’t include pics with recipes! They are so key. And believe me, these photos make the recipes look amazing! I can’t wait to try some of them.
Every 2 days for the next month, Baby + You will be giving away a $10 gift card for new Facebook and Twitter followers! Winners can choose from the following gift cards: Starbucks, iTunes, Sephora, Netflix, Toys R Us, Baby Gap, Walmart, and Target.
Additionally, starting on Monday August 20, you can upload a picture to their Facebook page of your little one enjoying summertime for a chance to win one of 2 Pampering & Relaxation prizes for mom valued at $200 each!
I hope you’ll enter to win, but most of all, I hope that if you are a new mom or mom-to-be that you will go check out their Baby + You and bookmark it! Then during a nap or a feeding, spend some time exploring their site. I hope you’ll love it to!
Just for fun… What was the hardest part of that first year being a mom? For me, I’d have to say developing a schedule! For that first bit, you really can’t, and that was a huge challenge for me! Can’t wait to hear your responses!
